I am an experienced Italian teacher, having taught for 20 years both in Italy and in England.
I will tailor my lessons to you using communicative methods, fun games, interactive boards task-based learning and authentic materials (articles, videos and songs).
I believe that personalised plans can boost everyone potential and give a go to an effective learning.
Furthermore, an immersion into Italian traditions is the key to bring the learner in the culture to improve the understanding and the use of language.
Last but not least, a flexible scheduling is essential to let you smoothly schedule the lessons in between other weekly commitments.
I have Cedils certificate (to teach italian as second laguage: L2 ).
I, also, am a Qualified Teacher in Italy and in England .
I have a first honour degree in Education and an enhanced DBS.
Let’s explore the language together!

My Story

"I was born and raised in Naples, where the sea meets history, and grew up inspired by Italy’s pedagogical traditions with student-centered approach.
For 14 years, I taught primary schools in Naples, seeing education as a calling to nurture curiosity and potential.
Eight years ago, I moved to London with my family, continuing my teaching journey in Primary schools in London and Surrey, while sharing my love for Italian language and culture at "La Scuola di Sofia" and "Sial"(Italian School in London) teaching both children and adults.
A year ago, I launched my business with a passion for helping others navigate the beautiful complexities of the Italian language. My goal is to empower students to confidently "run" through Italian sentences, mastering grammar, vocabulary, and conversation with agility and clarity.
To me, language is a bridge connecting people to history, art, and tradition. I aim to make learning Italian immersive, helping students feel its rhythm and power.
Outside the teaching, I enjoy travelling by motorhome, doing agility training with my border collie and celebrating culture through food.
These passions fuel my teaching, where I strive to make every lesson meaningful and memorable."
